The evolution of the blogger…

Tag: Uncategorizedadmin @ 9:06 am

OK guys, i’ve been looking into it, and it is entirely possible for a few of us to start our own Sports Blogging site. I’m not sure how long this post will be left up, but for those of you interested, i have a proposal. if your interested in having more freedom with your content, hit me at my email address: rsloggers@gmail.com. dont worry, i’m not suggesting that you stop blogging on this site. This is a lot of fun. but you could still be your normal blog-self here and do features for our site. i plan on doing this whether anyone actually responds or not. a number of us have outgrown this place, and i think its about time we took our game to the next level.

looking out into the blogosphere, there are two real heavy hitters,Fox and the Sporting News. they gotta be making bank on this place. i’ve already fronted the money for the domain, i plan on using the Wordpress blog software, which is what Fox uses here. you’ll recognise all the same controls, etc. the software is freely available at wordpress.org. but on my site, we can add video and music and anything else ya’ll can think of.

eventually… if we can generate enough interest, we could start getting paid. with enough viewers, i plan to add some ads and generate cash. then you can get paid for your pieces. Meandovine’s BDG would make much money. Dudski’s work. Norcal when he feels like it, B-Money - look, i could list a number of folks i’d love to shack up and take over the blogosphere with.

i’ve put a lot of thought into this. i’ve read nearly everything written on this site for nearly 7 months. many of us - and it is a stretch to include myself - have MUCHO talent and cool ideas. why not bank in on it? if interested, hit me up.

its up!
