so i’ve settled down for a long springtime nap. a quick glance around the sports landscape leaves me wanting. March madness is over and i’ve simply started slapping Gator fan before they even say anything to me. its not jealousy. i’m quite happy an SEC team won the tittle. i’m even comfortable with the idea that Florida won. but those championships seem to work themselves into every conversation.

Me: so how do you feel about Imus and his nappy headed Ho’s?
My brother: he wouldnt have said that if they’d won the championship like my gators.

me: how do you think the SEC will shape up this year
my brother: i think Florida will content for the championship again.

Me: hey bro, wanna shoot some pool and get some wings?
my brother: I told you florida was gonna win it all.

i’m bored. i went to the South Carolina scrimmage and was underwhelmed. our defense will again be one of the better defenses in the nation. no one is gonna pass for 300 yards on us. Spurrier has promised to exile the 3-4 defense because it’s gay and it doesnt work. every team that ran on us did it while we only had 3 hogs on the field. and one of them guys was a converted LB. now he’s back at his regular position and we have 9 defensive linemen - one of them at 6′7 300lbs… and big boy can move.

baseball is looking great. of course, you know i love it when things arent going well. and right now the Yankees are in some trouble. Maybe the Yankees should try booing A-Rod. or maybe they should see if Derek Jeter can pitch. or maybe they could line up and rub Jason Giambi’s HGH induced bobblehead prior to each at-bat.

Real Sports Bloggers is hummin. i think i’ve got all the bugs kinked out. many thanks to all the guys who’ve stuck it out with me. the invitation is open to anyone who wants exposure outside of the forum here. i was bored so i hacked a little radio into the front page. right now it plays popular stands tunes and fightsongs from the ACC. i know what youre thinking: Why the ACC? well, because A comes before B, and by the time i got the damn thing working right, i was sleepy. so i just uploaded the ACC mp3s.

Speaking of mp3s, i have every college fight song known to man. because i’m bored, i’ll be offering a ring tone service. i found a website that will let you send ring tones to yourself. all i have to do is upload them. SOOOO, if anyone is a college music freak like me AND would love to have their favorite college fightsong as a ringtone - leave a message here or email me. i’m telling ya, i got every song. even Stanford and Boston College. funny, cuz i always thought your school had to be of a certain size to have a song.

i’m considering starting an internet sports radio show. hit me if anyone’s interested. either way, i’ll be running Dark Side radio 24/7 all football season. all fightsongs, all night and day.

i’m building a political forum site for those of us who wish to wax political. expect that to be up by monday or so.
