…because his boneheaded defensive call are killing us. We’ve turned into the Louisville of the SEC. We can score on anyone, but our defense lets us down every game. But I don’t blame the players, not after watching an entire season of T-Nix’s defense. I don’t know what this guy is smoking, but everyone in the nation knows our 3-4 couldn’t stop anyone from running anywhere. I’d trade our Defensive Coordinator for a virgin with an XBOX 360 controller. Thanks to the innovative genius of DVR, I now have the ability to record the game and watch all of T-Nice’s boneheaded calls over and over again. It’s even better than sitting in Tennessee stadium watching our defensive coordinator coach us out of a game live. Readers, close your eyes and imagine with me:

Florida has the ball on our 10 yard line. Its 3rd and 9. Urban Crier trots out 5 WRs leaving Timmy Tebow all by his fat lonesome in the Florida backfield. Remember thus: Tebow leads his team in rushing. So, 3rd and 9, what does he do? Well, Florida is missing is #1 WR/RB and has no TE to speak of. What do you do, Gamecock fans? Do you drop 8 people in box because you know damn well that Tebow is going to fake the hand off and then run the ball?

Nope.

Do you man up on on the WRs and send everyone else to meet Tebow in the back field? Nope. What does Terrible Nix do? Why he lines up 2 DTs and drops 9 people into coverage - coverage in the god damn endzone. Not such a wild idea because a cover 9 is standard goal line mantra when facing a running QB. Balls hiked, Tebow pretends to pass for .2 seconds and trots into the endzone. good call.
