A Blogger Darkly: War with Fox Sports
So i got a chat from a Fox Sports writer. I won’t name names, but if you know of a paid fox blogger and you know me, then you know it could only have been one person. Apparently some of you guys have touched off a war and it finally landed at my doorstep. Here was the gist of the convo:
1. She tried to appeal to my ego. “if someone called my wife the C-Word, what would i do?” i tried to be diplomatic. But as we all know, I don’t do diplomacy. My wife would stand up for herself and go to the guys harassing her, and then - if and only when she couldn’t handle it herself would come get me. I have a habit of escalation tension. Oh, and then there’s the fact that this is an online community and no one here knows my wife. so fuckit, say what you want.
2. Then she said wondered aloud why i didn’t make a move to defend my friends. this makes 2 assumptions 1)that we are friends and 2) i would step in some bitch fight between my ‘friends’.
3. Then she tried to say that my allowing yous guys to make fun of her is lessening her opinion of Marines. Thats unfortunate. I am not a Marine, nor have I ever been. I anted to be a marine, but my head would not fit in the jar. My ASVAB was too high. Marines can not read. I am a soldier and i’ll be thinking of her when i’m back in the desert dodging bullets in May.
4. Then she said I wasn’t very Christian. Thanks! I’m not a christian. I’m a non practicing, heathen towel head, sand nigger who only displays his religion on holidays and when it’s time to win an argument.
5. The she threatened me. She gave me a heads up. Piggy is jealous that she and Ed have old their souls to fox. Miracle is an asshole. Blah Blah Blah. I could give a fuck… seriously. I don’t have time for this bullshit. Apparently, we shouldn’t make fun of people in the comfort of our own comment sections. I - as the site owner- should step into her little gay war with Piggy or whomever and salvage her good name.
I never knew she had such. here’s what i plan to do: Nothing.
I got banned from fox with nary a whimper. I left and never looked back.
Fox people, you are welcome on this site. I am the greatest admin ever. I do everything my bloggers want and I don’t complain about nothing. I invite you to sign up for a blog and see for yourselves. Youre welcome even if it’s only to launch a counter attack on Piggy or whomever (which would be gay because I’m sure he doesn’t give a fuck what you think). You may come here and read. You’re even invited to try to hack my shit. But be warned, I see every IP address that comes across our doorstep. Individual blog owners can see the IP of every lowlife that punches RSB into their address bar. I, we, know who you are. I dont make money from clicks or from hits on people’s blogs, so i have no qualms bout banning entire nodes. This is your only warning: Stop skulking and participate in the community or go away.
Thanks for the heads up, Lisa . Your warning has been acknowledged. Tell your fox lackeys that any attempt to fuck with this site or any of its members will be ugly and very public. how bad wouldit look if i’m fighting a war agaionst terrorism and a war with a lame sports site? Great, I’ll see you and your lawyers on 60 minutes.

It’s a shame that people are so weak minded that they waste time giving a shit what some insignificant piss ant in cyberspace says or thinks about them.
And you do kick ass as an Admin, myself and others appreciate the hell out of the opportunity that you have given us.
As a side note, that IP Address from Atlanta has hit my site 81 times this month, must be trolling for free material.

Going Slightly off-topic: $8 Beers
Anyone ever see the above phrase? Thousands upon thousands have seen Daynakedladies’ cute blog name. Unfortunately, very few people read my post “$8 Beers”(written a month before the phrase was ‘borrowed’) at least DP (both his initials and his hobby?) took the time to lick the ball-sweat off of my work. This was not a singular happening with DP….I lost count on the number of times my shit showed up in one of his posts. He could have at least said, “Can I use one/two/ten of your ideas?”.
Back to topic….
Lisa, (Heartbreak Ridge quote-a-comin) don’t go away mad…..just go the fuck away. The crap you called writing isn’t worthy enough to remove the dried butt-nuggets from Piggy’s Ass-floss. Personally, I tried to write well (pro-style) but found that I gagged everytime FS got it’s point at the back of my throat (congrats with your ability to ignore the reflex).
Demo, Miracle is correct….you kick ass as the Admin Dude.

There is no need for you to fight someone else’s war. Everyone has a choice about what they read, what they write, where they blog, and how they interact in the fucked-up world of cyberspace.
Freedom certainly is a bitch…
By the way, smoke…I did notice that before. All I can say is that kind of “coincidence” isn’t uncommon at all. As you said, they could at least you give the goddam courtesy of a reach-around before sticking it to you (one of the best movie lines ever).

Obviously this is all above my head. What the fuck started all of this shit? I mean. if the problem was that freedom of speech was falsly advertised over at FS, and you guys went elsewhere (very impressive btw Demon)…whats the problem? At present, I still enjoy talking to some of the people at FS, but more and more it is chock full of drive-by message board fuckos that just want to talk smack. Now, I love to talk smack, but a little inteligent conversation and/or disciplined banter needs to get in the mix somewhere.
I guess I just don’t understand how Lisa is responsible for this situation. I am not saying I disagree, I am saying that I personally NO NOT have any knowledge regarding the situation to understand how it all went down and her responsibility level therein.
Regardless, I like the site and I will try to contribute something worth reading.
Additionally, it will be fun to hang out with all the shitbags that I beat every week in FFL. I will win it all…take that to the bank!

Pete, I think more than anything else, L is the embodiement of everything wrong with f**sp**ts.

Additionally…I don’t know that I have a jealous bone in my body. I’m not jealous of people who have more money or better jobs or nicer cars. Why would I be jealous of a talentless blow-hard, know-it-all?
I just don’t like to see people manipulate a situation, walk all over others, put themselves above the group and allow their ego to rule the minions.
It’s just my opinion. Demon gives me the freedom to state my opinion without being censored or silenced. I don’ thave to fear my blog being deleted and my ass being booted out of the RSB community. With that, I will be respectful to those who contribute to THIS blogging community without putting their own ventures before that of our collective group of bloggers.
As for “having the back of my friends”? I belive that when injustice was done to Demon and Smoke, there were about 3 or 4 of us who stood up against the establishment called FUX Sports…we too found ourselves standing on the outside looking in.
WHERE were some of those FUX bloggers when Demon, Smoke and I got booted for speaking our minds? Many of them are HERE now. Still others have decided to remain with the establishment known as FUX Sports. Even others have decided to remain with FUX and join us here as well.
Whatever the case, I will voice my opinion when I feel a curly hair tickling me in a bad place if that’s what I want to do. If any of the FUX bloggers have a problem with that, I do not block comments or filter them either. Come, speak your mind…stand up for yourselves and defend against my opinion.

I must say…i’m very VERY disapointed. I figured that someone…ANYONE from FUX Sports would drop by to defend someone elses honor.
I guess the only thing for me to assume is that the person in question is not worth defending.
However, I will hold out hope that someone…ANYONE from that other site grows a set of marbles larger than BB’s. Until then, I’ll just sit here and amuse myself.

This is truly a very good site, demon. I still hang around Fox now and then, but like Pete said, it’s chock full of folks now whose mouths are larger than their brains. I usually click of a few faves to see if they have anything new, and leave. Haven’t had a lot of time lately anyway.
I also noticed the “$8 Beers” name looked familiar. Now I remember why.
Maybe someone should intervene and get L to check into bloggers anonymous. Wonder if she still has a life. On second thought, nah. Like Shooter says, no need to fight someone else’s war.

Demon: It’s too bad that you/we/anyone has to get dragged into a “war” that shouldn’t even exist. I can see that someone with a “potty mouth” has taken over over there on FS.
I mean, I got banned for these words, and these words alone “What SoCal said,” and what Rob said was that he doubted that the person signing in/commenting as Fox_Admin was really the Fox Sports community administrator. Guess we were wrong, huh?
Too bad they can’t handle a little criticism. Guess that I will be looking for my sports commentary and info elsewhere from now on. Glad that at least some of my work still exists here (I was the impromptu poster type, not the do it in Word and save it type).
And, they’re right, you rock!
